  • ice
  • orange slice

The spritz dates from the time when the Veneto was Austrian and the soldiers sprayed the wine with water. Aperol joined in 1919 in Padua, the 3-2-1 formula in the fifties. Since around 2010 the Aperol Spritz has been Europe's aperitivo drink, from Milan to the Klunkerkranich.

The spritz is not a cocktail to measure yourself by but a ritual: the hour between 6 and 8 pm, a terrace, crisps or olives, a glass the colour of the sunset.
