In 1908 Adolf Loos built the American Bar in the Kärntner Durchgang: 27 square metres, onyx, marble, mahogany, a mirrored ceiling that makes the room endless. The Loos Bar has been unchanged since, always full and perhaps the most beautiful small bar in the world. The cocktails are classic, the prices Vienna-normal.
