On the Playa de Palma, just past Portixol, lies Nassau Beach Club: Balinese beds on the sand, a restaurant, a cocktail bar, a DJ in the afternoon and a view of the bay as far as the cathedral. Closer to Palma than Purobeach and more relaxed than Magaluf.
